If there was no sin in the world it would be a very different place – it would be ‘very good‘. This is how God describes the world before there was sin in it (Genesis 1:31). When Adam and Eve sinned there were two big consequences that God brought about. People from then on would be in pain (Genesis 3:16 & Genesis 3:17) and tragically they would die.

“By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust and to dust you shall return.” Genesis 3:19

A world without sin is a world without pain and death. That sounds fantastic. The Lord Jesus Christ will return to bring the Kingdom of God – a ‘no sin’ environment –  to the whole earth. Jesus told all the people he met about the Kingdom of God; a time in the future when God would remove sin from the world. He taught his disciples to pray:

“Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10

A world without sin is heaven-like, it will be a place where people always do the right thing. The Bible tells us that not everyone will enjoy the Kingdom of God, the world without sin. Paul wrote to the believers in Corinth:

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?” 1 Corinthians 6:9

So a world without sin would have no people fighting, stealing, cheating,  abusing drugs & alcohol or in harmful relationships…all these things and more won’t be found in the Kingdom of God. At the start of the Bible we find sin causes pain and death. At the end of the Bible, God promises he will establish a sin-free world where pain and death will not exist.

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning or crying nor pain any more, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4
