All the gospels say that the Spirit of God descended “like a dove”. For example,
As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. (Matthew 3:16)
and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. (Luke 3:22
So there is no suggestion that there was a real bird there. Rather, the appearance of the Holy Spirit coming upon Jesus somehow resembled a dove.
