God was not born to Mary.  Jesus was born to Mary.  Jesus is not God and never claimed to be. He himself said is “a man sent from God” (John 8:30). Jesus did not exist before his conception and birth.

.
Jesus reveals his Father, but is not himself God:

There is a prophecy in Isaiah that says that some of Jesus’s titles would be “Mighty God” and “Everlasting Father”.   Isaiah 9:6:

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

But this doesn’t mean Jesus is God – it means Jesus has the Father’s authority as God’s representative and son.  Note that the title “Everlasting Father” does not make any sense if God was born to Mary.   No father is born to the woman who bears his son.  If you think is confusing, then you are correct;   the reason it is confusing is that it is nonsense.

The sensible meaning is that Jesus bears the name of God as any human son bears the name of his human father.  In a similar, though lesser way the angel in the wilderness with the children of Israel bore the name of God.   Exodus 23:20-21:

“Behold, I send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared.  (21)  Pay careful attention to him and obey his voice; do not rebel against him, for he will not pardon your transgression, for my name is in him.

To emphasize the point that this angel bore the name of God, also consider Exodus 3:4-6:

When the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”  (5)  Then he said, “Do not come near; take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.”  (6)  And he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.

So you can be confident it was indeed an angel in the burning bush, compare the above verses with Acts 7:30-33:

“Now when forty years had passed, an angel appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, in a flame of fire in a bush.  (31)  When Moses saw it, he was amazed at the sight, and as he drew near to look, there came the voice of the Lord:  (32)  ‘I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob.’ And Moses trembled and did not dare to look.  (33)  Then the Lord said to him, ‘Take off the sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.

These verses show quite clearly that an angel can bear the name of God.  The book of Hebrews goes to great lengths to explain the supremacy of Jesus over angels, so it is not surprising that Jesus also bears God’s name.   Hebrews 1:3-5:

He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,  (4)  having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.  (5)  For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son, today I have begotten you”? Or again, “I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son”?

Jesus, being God’s son, has inherited God’s name.   Jesus will establish God’s Kingdom on earth  and rule in God’s name.  Jesus is God’s representative to men.  1 Corinthians 15:27-28:

For “God has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him.  (28)  When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all.

The idea that Jesus is God does not make sense.  How can a person exist literally, before he is born?   Of course, Jesus was in the mind of God at the very beginning.  It was because of Jesus that God made everything.

Just as the children of God were known of God (see quotes below) before the foundation of the world,  so Jesus existed in the mind of God before the foundation of the world.  The idea of Jesus, only became an actuality at his birth – the word became flesh.

Revelation 13:8:

and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain.

Ephesians 1:4:

even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.

  1. Last Hour says:

You must understand Jesus was Gods first creation and he is the only “FORMED” god and there is none before or after him. this is why he is called Alpha and Omega, First and the Last. Jesus tells us His God is his father and the Father God is a spirit and that he does his fathers will. The Father spirit is the Almighty. Jesus tells us no man has ever heard or seen the Father. Jesus calls himself I AM. He says his words are those of his Father. Hope this helps. Now read whole Bible and get your mind blown when you see the versus that are words of Jesus and or His father.

This is false doctrine. The Scriptures clearly state that Jesus is the God of Abraham. “Before Abraham was, I AM.”
