When Jesus left us and went to heaven, the disciples were given a prophecy:

This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven. (Acts  1:11)

Since then, Christians have waited, sometimes impatiently, for Jesus’ return. And because the Bible is full of interesting and tantalizing prophecies and numerical side games, there’s been a steady stream of Christians guessing a particular date for the return of our Lord. And there’s now a “Christian Scholar” proclaiming that he’s calculated the “second coming of Christ to be on 5/21/2011”.

Well, so far, all 100% of them have been wrong, and this will most likely be yet another. Jesus told us this:

But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. (Matt 24:36)

So we just don’t know when Jesus will come. In the meantime:

For through the Spirit, by faith, we ourselves eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness. (Gal 5:5)

    JOHN 3 :16
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that whoever believeth in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life.

Thats all I’ve got to say

If all the dispensationalist believe what they preach why do they want you to buy their stuff? Maybe no one told them you can’t take it with them! They must be that stupid or they think you are.

JC is coming soon. I do not want to know the date exactly. This is to make sure I live the way het wants me to live. I want to be ready any moment.

  4. cliff griffin says:

Why can’t we just except what the Bible tells us, that no one but God knows when our Lord Jesus will return. I would rather not know, so that may stay preyed up at all times.

  5. cheryl says:

it says in the bible that no one knows when Jesus is coming, so why should we worry, we can only live one day at a time and enjoy life to our fullest. Jesus will come when the time is right, i would rather not know when he comes, i pray all the time and i help others, I know i live a good life.

  6. Kenneth says:

Yes it does say that no one knows but it does say we will know when it is near right at the door.

  7. james says:

That is why I don’t listen to the Mayan Calender. Only God knows.

all these predictions about 21 May 2011 come from man not God, hence they are nothing more than hot air. What does the flood of Noah have to do with the end times? I thought the Bible said that God would never bring such a disaster to man again.

That does not change the fact that Harold Camping may still be a decent christian concerned about God’s people and deliveres an important message. He is 70+ yrs old. Remember all is not black and white. He may be wrong in one area but right in another. I have listened to him many an evening and has warmed my heart and sould. God knows how I need lots more…..
