Additional comments from question:

Hold on friend, I think God showed me something today. It is Nato led by the US. You may only have a few days. Key line is..In short, the battle Gog and Magog is war in the latter days (Last days) when a confederacy of nations attack Israel, which has been restored in the last days. These nations, which attack Israel in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39, include nations, which are Muslim and have a clear animosity to Israel. Along with these Muslims nations, a northern kingdom, called Gog and Magog, which many identify as the land Russia, will ally itself with Muslim nations, to oppose Israel in the last days. Only Nato led by the US control Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Qutar, Lybia, The Muslim Brotherhood and the current rebels in Syria. Who is Obama……I think he is Gog

Thank you for your question. However, we must always be careful about trying to identify contemporary circumstances in prophetic or visionary texts. Frequently throughout history people have looked at their own times and thought, “maybe this is the time that Ezekiel was talking about”. But given there have been so many powerful world leaders and some many crises in the Middle East, we should be cautious about saying this or that incident correlates to the dramatic events described in Ezekiel 38-39.

You are right that Magog has often been identified with Russia. Russia is geographically north of Israel (Ezekiel 38:15), unlike the United States. However, it is worth noting that the reason translators give these locations as Magog, Meschech, Tubal and Togarmah is because their true location is uncertain. These nations are described using names from the ancient genealogies found in Genesis. So do these names denote the original settlement of these ancient peoples? Or their location at the time of Ezekiel? Or their location at some future point – if that can even be determined? Or perhaps the location is not determined by ethnicity but by some other factor, which determined how Israelites named the surrounding nations. This all highlights the problems of identifying nations involved in these prophecies.

Also we should be cautious in over-interpreting current events. Does NATO actually “control” Turkey or Iraq, in any meaningful sense (let alone the Muslim Brotherhood)? Even if we could identify the United States as Magog (which seems difficult), is it plausible to think that United States could encourage a group of diverse and mutually antagonistic countries into war against Israel? I’m afraid I don’t find any of this plausible.
