There are three sets of twins mentioned in the Bible, but no triplets.

1. Jacob and Esau – Jacob and Esau, sons of Isaac and Rebecca (Genesis 25:19-28).

2. Perez and Zerah – children of Judah with his own daughter-in-law, Tamar (Genesis 38:12-30)

3. Thomas and his unnamed brother – Thomas, one of the twelves disciples (Matthew 10:3) was probably a twin. His own name Thomas means “twin” in Aramaic, and this is translated as Didymus (δίδυμος) in the Gospel of John. Whether his brother was another of the 12, or never appears, is not clear.

4. Ephraim and Manasseh – some people think that the two sons of Joseph and his Egyptian wife Asenath may have been twins since Genesis mentions they were born in the same year “before the year of famine came” (Genesis 41:50).
