No. In regard to his return to the earth, Jesus said, in Matthew 24:36, “Concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son (Jesus), but the Father only. So Jesus cannot be God.
It has sometimes been argued that Jesus’ statement refers only to the time of his mortality. However, after Jesus’ had been made immortal and exalted to his Father’s side in heaven, Paul says, in 1 Corinthians 8:6, “For us there is one God, the Father”, and in 1 Timothy 2:5, “There is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” So, Jesus is not God.
There is one God, the Father. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And the Holy Spirit is the power of God.

Does the Bible call Jesus ‘God’? (10 verses which some say do) This answer links to 10 other answers looking at 10 verses.
2 corinthians 13:1 Out of two or three witnesses, every matter ought to be established. If you argue about Jesus not being God. Where do you put scriptures like Phillipians 2:6( Which claimed he is God but that he threw away the right of Godship so as to accomplish salvation for us), John 1:1( The word was God, we know that Word referred to Jesus because verse 14 claims it was that word that became flesh-Jesus). On earth he used the name by which God manifest himself to Israel many times( “I am ” which coloured most of his words )
There are other scriptures that attest to this. In Genesis 1:1. It says in the beginning God( Greek: Elohim–) created the heavens and the earth. Elohim is Plural in Hebrew and not singular. The singular should have been ELOHA. The Hebrew language is richer than English. So, things can be easily distinguished. To confirm this , another verse during creation says ” Let US (plural) make man in our image ( watch this , he did not say Let ME make man). It was a conference they had among themselves during creation because they are God. To reconcile your point with mine and with other scriptures. I believe after he took on humanity, his lowering himself from Godship to allow himself to be sent because of the assignment became irrevocable and to honour him(Phillipians 2:10), the one who sent him(called father), empowered him to sent the Holy Spirit( who is also God but allowed himself to be sent also because of the assignment. The Holy spirit is not just power of God though he has Power). He is deputising for the son on the earth. He too also took that form. But the form that the father , Son and the Holy spirit have taken seems now to be permanent. So, we now have a permanent change of role. That is why scripture now says We have one God. But in the beginning it was not so taking into account the way God was referred to in Genesis.
SHALOM
The Holy Spirit has a lot of personality attributes in the scripture( he can be grieved, sinned against just like the father can be sinned against). He is a person. He was there at the creation as part of the Godhead in Genesis. Genesis 1 says The Spirit of God moved upon the waters. He is not just the Power of God

As well as the fact that God knows everything (as this question acknowledges), God has a few basic characteristics which he announces to us:
These are some of the things which fundamentally distinguish God from mankind. Jesus died, his face was seen by thousands and he was tempted to sin (although he did not sin). Surely then it is a reasonable conclusion that Jesus is not God? Consider also Jesus’ repeated description of God as his own God (John 20:17, Revelation 3:2, 12). Jesus claims to be the son of God, not to be God himself – the two are not the same thing.
Ancient modalism. I’m not sure where these answers are coming from, but it doesn’t seem to coincide with ANY Christian beliefs that I’ve ever heard, besides ones that have been condemned as heretical.
Just for clarification, is this a Jehovah’s Witness site? The beliefs are very much in line with JW’s, yet it seems to be promoted as a Christian site. So far, I find very little here that is in fact Christian.
Simply, if you don’t believe Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, the incarnate God the Son, then your not Christian (1 John 2:21-25, 1 John 4:1-6). To call yourself so would be to promote yourself as something you are not. Talking about beliefs is one thing, but promoting THESE as Christian “answers” is something completely different. If this is in fact a forum for such discussion about personal beliefs regarding Christian doctrine, then please do not mask it as a “Bible Answers” site. Doing so can misdirect so many people.
I refer you to James 3:1 and ask that you do not take such discussion as this lightly.
The verses you refer to talk about Jesus coming in the flesh and being the Christ, both of which statements I agree with. They talk about having both the Father and the Son, which is important. They do not say that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh.
Also, how can the site be anything other than a “Bible Answers” site if questions are being asked about the Bible and answers are coming from the Bible?
Cole, you have misread what 1 John 2:21-25, 1 John 4:1-6 say. Please look at the verses again.
Peter, Elohim is singular. I will post an answer on this shortly.
Some interesting points to note (and answers from the Bible). All have many supporting verses but only one each is quoted for brevity.
Jesus is clearly not God, but the divine Son of God. He did not have the attributes of God but was inferior to Him. Jesus acts as a mediator between us and God, prayed to God, and worshipped God. This makes no sense if he is God. Jesus now excercises Gods authority and power. Specifying this makes no sense if Jesus is already God.
