Bible Q

The Pharisee false charge that Jesus “claimed to be God” (John 10:33) refuted and dropped.

Trinitarians and Oneness sometimes cite the Pharisees as proof that Jesus “claimed to be God”

For example:

John 10:33 The Jews answered Him, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God.”
But what Jesus actually says denies that he claimed this:

…36 [How] do you say of Him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?

And note that his trial, the Pharisees have amended the charge more correctly:

John 19:7 The Jews answered him, “We have a law, and by that law He ought to die because He made Himself out to be the Son of God.

So not even the Pharisees support the use made of 10:33 by Trinitarians and Oneness.
