Yes. In Daniel we read
And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. (Daniel 12:2)
The word “resurrection” literally means “standing up again”; i.e., though you have lain down and died, you will stand up again and be alive. Whenever the Bible talks about resurrection it is referring to that process of coming back to life again.
The simplest way of thinking about our resurrection is to look at the example of Jesus. After his resurrection, he had a body, he ate and drank, he could be touched. And “we shall be like him” (1 John 3:2).
